Crafting Comfort

Our Mission is to provide comfort to those in need through gifts of handcrafted items. Hospitalized children receive quilted blankets, handmade toys and brightly patterned surgical caps. Infants in Intensive care receive crib pads, receiving blankets and crochet caps. Alzheimer's sufferers receive activity muffs for warmth and to improve interaction with family and caregivers. Breast cancer surgery patients receive specially designed camisoles, herbal eye sachets and underarm pillows to ease the pain of recovery.

  • meets every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm, except during July and August.

Threads of Love

Threads of Love is a needlework ministry meeting the needs of tiny premature infants. Threads of Love is also about healing and binding together hearts of parents when they have lost an infant. We make tiny caps, booties, blankets and gowns for premature babies in the NICU. In addition we make garments for burial for those who are too sick or tiny to survive.

  • meets every Monday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, except during July and August.

Community SewingGroup at the Studio

Two afternoons per month (2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoons), come and make quilts at the studio for the Thank You Quilters and Linus Connection. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Work on your own project to donate, or let the organizers put you to work!
